"Cheap" HDMI Cables vs. Monster Cables

Don't get fooled into buying expensive HDMI cables from stores like Best Buy, Circuit City, or other local electronics stores.

If you are to buy an HDMI cable for your Playstation 3, then go to Walmart. You'll be better off paying around $25-30 for the HDMI cable there than the $60-120 cables often found at Best Buy.

Your best bet however is to buy your PS3 HDMI cable online. The fact is expensive HDMI cables (Monster) do not make the video picture or audio signal any better. I'm not kidding. It makes no difference. I have arguably the best LCD TV on the market, the 52" Samsung LN52A650 1080p 120Hz HDTV. I have a Denon 7.1 Receiver with HDMI and Dolby TrueHD, HD Cable Box, and Magnavox Blu-ray Player with DeepColor. All my devices are equipped with the latest in high definition video and audio technologies.  The two 6-foot HDMI cables I bought from Amazon cost me less than $15 after shipping. Everything works flawlessly and looks/sounds incredible. The cables I got are HDMI 1.3b, which would have cost me around $240 for the pair.

If you're convinced, purchase our 1080p 1.3b 6ft HDMI Cable for your Playstation 3 for only $19. And if you really had the itch to spend almost $100 today, buy the cheap cable and use your savings to buy a new PS3 game! Woohoo!

If you feel like you need more proof that cheap cables are really just as good as expensive cables, then read on, I'll provide some technical facts and explanations.
